How can enterprises declare the extension of social insurance payment period?
Question: Affected by the epidemic, can the processing time limit of social insurance of enterprises be extended? How to declare and report it?
According to the Implementing Rules of Several Policies and Measures of Shanghai Municipality for Efforts to Prevent and Control Epidemic Situation and Support and Serve Enterprises' Stable and Healthy Development (28 Articles) and Several Policies and Measures of Changning District for Dealing with Epidemic Situation and Helping Enterprises to Tackling Difficulties (15 Articles), the time limit for enterprises to handle social insurance may be extended due to the impact of the epidemic situation.
Methods for an enterprise to declare and file for extending the social insurance contribution period are as follows:
I. Pre-declaration by telephone.
Dialing 12333 (the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Consultancy Service Hotline ) to explain the unfinished errand is "deferred filing", and provide the name, social insurance registration code and accurate contact details (person to contact and mobile phone number) of the enterprise
II. Telephone return visits to enterprises.
Social insurance agencies shall, within three working days upon the receipt of pre-declaration, conduct telephone interview to get to know the exact impact of the epidemic on the enterprises and determine the reasons for the extension of social insurance payment period.
III. Description of the submission situation.
Prepare the Statement for the Declaration of Extension of Social Insurance Contribution Period and affix the same with official seals, and then submit the same in writing by means like registered mail or express.
IV. Results fed back by telephone.
Social insurance agencies shall, within three working days upon receipt of the Explanations, give enterprises feedbacks of the filing results by telephone, and provide the filing results via the CA self-service platform in due time.
The Instructions should set out such information: the industry to which the entity belongs, its business scope, main situation affected by the epidemic and extent of the impact, and promise to make timely payment after the resumption of normal business operations and make full payment no later than three months after the end of the epidemic.
