Changning District Commission of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement with the city’s international freight forwarding association on February 24 to carry out cooperation in international trade supply chain, customized enterprise logistics solutions and resources utilization, among others.

A WeChat mini-program for freight forwarding enterprises to submit service demands and provide suggestions and for the association to answer and feedback was launched at the scene.

Focusing on promoting the high-quality development of trade, Shanghai issued policies at the end of last year to further facilitate air cargo and rail freight transportation for cross-border trade.

Part of an action plan for pilot reform measures to further improve Shanghai’s business environment, they will further elevate the digital process for customs clearance procedures. 

Meanwhile, some of the digital solutions and smart customs clearance will be adopted by other regions in the country.
