Life is returning to normal
Banking outlets, police stations, public service counters and major retailers in Changning resumed their businesses on June 1 when the city was going back to normal after a two-month lockdown.

At local police stations, businesses involved were mainly applying for, reissuing and renewing ID cards, according to an officer with Xianxia Road Police Station.

At the same time, Xinjing Town Community Affairs Service Center resumed offline businesses. It served around 1,500 people over 320 applications on June 1.

The temporary hospital established in Linkong Music Park was the first one in Changning to receive patients amid COVID-19 resurgence and the last one closed as virus cases plunge.
Under the management of medical staff from Guanghua Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, the hospital treated more than 1,000 patients in two months.
Shopping mall to get a facelift

In line with the blueprint, the future Bailian Xijiao will meet the increasingly diversified needs of customers with more innovative business forms.

The upgraded Bailian Xijiao will use green plants and modern materials to form a “Ribbon,” flexibly connecting inner and outer ring buildings, surrounding residential compounds and waterfront.
Space will be reserved in the periphery of the shopping mall for customers to take a walk and rest. Roof greening and footpath will be added on the top floor to create a natural ecological social space, according to the blueprint.
