Organized by Liu Haisu Art Museum, the “Walking in the Snow and Searching for Plum Blossoms - Collection of Plum Blossom Theme Works Exhibition” recently opened to the public.
The exhibition showcases 27 works that are exhibited for the first time since they were included in the collection of the museum, making it the most extensive and concentrated exhibition of ancient artworks since the museum’s opening.
At the same time, the exhibition also produced an immersive VR experience for visitors to explore the snow and plum blossoms in the “The Painting of Winter Crows” by the famous artist Huang Quan (AD 903-965).
The exhibition will run through May 14.
Global debut of Westwell Lab E-Truck
On April 18th, Westwell Lab released its new product - the world’s first “scalable autonomous driving” intelligent connected new energy heavy-duty truck Qomolo E-Truck at the 2023 Shanghai International Auto Show.
At the same time, Westwell Lab’s new battery swapped unmanned commercial vehicle Q-Truck also joined forces with E-Truck to showcase the potential for green and intelligent upgrades.
The exterior surface of the E-Truck has undergone special treatment for anti-corrosion and salt spray prevention, and the frame is made of DL700 high-strength steel, making it suitable for operation in extremely cold and hot weather.
The vehicle is equipped with an integrated intelligent cockpit, as well as fatigue driving monitoring and human-machine interaction terminals.
Liang Chisheng, product director of Qomolo at Westwell Lab, said that E-Truck is an intelligent commercial vehicle product tailored specifically for customers who are undergoing automation transformation at container logistics nodes,
“It not only meets the need for traditional vehicles to upgrade to electrification, but also continues the ‘modular’ design of the Qomolo family, enhancing scalability and flexibility.
“It can be quickly upgraded to autonomous driving, leaving more potential for future upgrades,” Liang said.
Bosch, Eaton highlight auto show with latest innovation
The 2023 Shanghai International Auto Show is now open! As the world’s first A-level auto show this year, visitors can not only witness the latest models released by global car manufacturers, but also touch the beats of electrification and automation in the automotive industry.
Linkong-based Bosch and Eaton show their latest products and technology this time.
At this year’s auto show, Bosch held the first exhibition of multiple innovative products developed by local teams tailored to the needs of the Chinese market, with the theme of “shaping a new era of mobile travel.”
These products are namely Intelligent Cabin Technology Interactive Experience 4.0, Vehicle Dynamic Control System 2.0, 190 kw hydrogen power module, coaxial oil cooled motor, and new multi-in-one power electronic module.
Eaton showcased a series of innovative emission reduction technologies suitable for medium and heavy commercial vehicles, namely engine compression release in cylinder braking, cylinder parking, and delayed opening and closing solutions for intake valves.
Eaton also announced that its vehicle electrification (eMobility) business unit will focus on the product line of electric vehicle (EV) solutions, including new electric energy connection components, award-winning Breaktor circuit protection technology and charging infrastructure.
Women’s half marathon set for May Day
The 2023 Shanghai Women’s Half Marathon will be held on May 1, giving female running lovers a healthy start to the Labor Day holiday.
Four thousand runners will challenge the 21-kilometer main race, while another 800 will take part in the 5km health run.
The races will start at 7am from the Art Park on Tianshan Road W. in Changning District. The finish line of the half marathon has been set in Zhongshan Park, while the health run ends at the East Hongqiao Center.
The half marathon route covers 6.25km ecological green pathways along the Suzhou Creek.
‘Zero carbon’ new benchmark for cultural venues
The “Zero Carbon Venue Press Conference and Low Carbon Training Base Listing Ceremony” was held at Hongqiao Art Center on April 20th. A plan was released during the event to create “the first zero carbon cultural venue in China,” further focusing on the latest development trends of the low-carbon market and exploring the innovative integration of the cultural industry and dual carbon work.
“Zero Carbon Cultural Venues” is a zero carbon cultural venue demonstration project jointly carried out by Hongqiao Art Center and Shanghai Environmental Energy Exchange.
It will work from “creating a low-carbon training base,” “building the first carbon neutrality cultural venue in China,” “formulating a dual carbon plan,” “exploring and developing carbon inclusive application scenarios” and other aspects to improve the dual carbon management capability of Hongqiao Art Center, so as to build a “zero carbon cultural venue demonstration landmark” to provide an industry benchmark for promoting zero carbon construction of cultural venues in Changning District and even Shanghai in the future.
