On the evening of October 6, Professor Liu Nianjiu’s piano performance was held at the 520 Theater of Changning Cultural and Art Center. Professor Liu, an improvised piano performer, and his students brought a wonderful music feast to the Changning audience.
This concert is also the first performance of the “Changning Week Concert” in October, and there will be a series of exciting concerts waiting for you.

The opening performance is by a five year old boy who had only been learning to play the piano with Liu for over four months.
A few lively and innocent pieces of music added a touch of childlike charm to the performance, receiving applause from the audience.

Subsequently, the students took the stage one by one and performed piano masterpieces such as “Minuet in G major,” “Aria,” and “Praise of Love.” Among them, the oldest performer is only 17 years old.

That night, Liu also performed the famous Uyghur folk song “Half The Moon Climbs Up” with four hands, interpreting the unique charm of Xinjiang ethnic songs with beautiful melodies and strong rhythm.
Liu’s solo performances of “The Butterfly Lovers,” “Black Cat Sheriff,” and “Longing for Love” were even more captivating to the audience, making them intoxicated.

Liu frequents the Changning Week Concert, an important brand of Changning Culture and Tourism for 17 years since its debut in April 2006. Over the past 17 years, its performances have attracted widespread attention due to their high quality, wide range of artistic fields, and good audience appreciation.
Liu’s piano performance has unveiled the Changning Week Concert in October. After that, three high-quality performances will be held this month, allowing Changningers to experience the beauty of music at their doorstep.
