Initially launched in 2004, Bailian Xijiao is the first open mall in China and the first community shopping center in Shanghai to have an outdoor square.

The indoor and outdoor power lines of Bailian Xijiao dynamic-lines are connected, with multiple ways such as escalators, straight ladders, and stairs, making strolling through the mall more flexible. The mall has two main atriums, east and west, decorated in different design languages, changes its aspect at every turn.

In addition, the mall has added many outdoor scenes, including pink fitness trails, parent-child interaction spaces, rock climbing and skateboarding areas, etc. 

At the same time, the shopping mall has fully opened up the waterfront area, making it intersect and blend with the Xinjinggang River, constructing a waterfront neighborhood.

As a pet friendly shopping mall, Bailian Xijiao allows healthy cats and dogs who have obtained a registration certificate and wearing a tag to enter. The customer service center on the first floor can provide pet carts, leashes, toilet bags, and other items.

Coinciding with the test run and the upcoming November 11 shopping mania, Bailian Xijiao has prepared a wealth of discounts and interactive activities. From now through November 26, newly registered members of Bailian Xijiao can redeem and receive a “food map” at the service center on the first floor to check in at any restaurant or food and beverage stalls.
