Shopping mall creates snowland with magical experience

A giant white chubby snowman, standing up to 7 meters tall, appears on the square outside the L’ Avenue shopping mall. Inspired by classic story scenes, it builds a healing art scene, presenting a beautiful picture of dreamy and warm winter blending together.

A lighting ceremony with the theme the “Snowman and The Snowdog” was also held at the L’ Avenue.

The “Snowman and The Snowdog” is an animated short film created in memory of British manga writer Raymond Briggs’ “Snowman” picture book. 

The two works span decades, continuing with soft tone strokes and dialogue free camera language, telling a healing winter dream story. This year, L’ Avenue took this IP story as inspiration and created a warm and healing fairyland.

Open the gate of the shopping mall, it feels like stepping into the world of snowmen. Some are playing guitar, some are waving their hands, and some are flying in the air with snowflakes and snowballs floating, all of whom make people’s mouths curl up. 

Exquisite and dreamy castles, bustling and extraordinary snow country markets, cute ice cream dining cars... all allow customers to immerse themselves in the dreamy world of fairy tales.

L’ Avenue also specially designed a “viewing area” where customers can go and watch the original animated works of the “Snowman and Snowdog,” with the wonderful experience of live interaction.

Primary school students set district Olympic record

After two days of intense competition, the team of Yuping Road S. Primary School from Changning District won runner-up in the primary school group of path tracking control of unmanned driving vehicles in the final of the third Yangtze River Delta Youth Artificial Intelligence Olympic Challenge.

More than 7,600 teams from over 1,200 primary and secondary schools in 31 cities throughout the Yangtze River Delta region participated in the competition.

Teams from Yuping Road S. Primary School, Gubei Road Primary School, and Changning Experimental Primary School in Changning District entered the final.

Full color seen in greenway

With the alternation of seasons, the ecological greenway in the outer ring forest belt of Changning District has ushered in the most beautiful viewing season. 

This 6.25 kilometer long greenway has become a new favorite for cycling enthusiasts, attracting many people to come and experience the beauty of nature.

The greenway in late autumn, when viewed at a glance, is full of red, green, and yellow intertwined, like a splendid painting. The red Chinese tallow and yellow ginkgo constitute a colorful landscape, attracting many people to stop and admire. 

The trees along the way are blown by the wind, and the fallen leaves are scattered, adding a romantic atmosphere to the greenway.

In addition to the colorful trees, another highlight of the greenway is the ability to observe planes taking off and landing up close. Along the greenway, which happens to be on the route of Hongqiao International Airport, people can enjoy the spectacular scene of planes flying overhead while cycling, which is breathtaking.

Ancient ginkgo trees spread golden foliage

It’s the season of ginkgo again, and these century old ginkgo trees in Changning are also covered in “golden armor,” full of golden color and breathtaking beauty!
