“New Quadrant Wuyi” is the former site of Shanghai Fourth Electric Meter Factory, a subsidiary of Yidian Group. It is located at 155 Wuyi Road, covering an area of 3,774 square meters with a building area of approximately 12,000 square meters.

Composed of five buildings, it is an open industrial park that integrates artificial intelligence, cultural creativity, and commercial office. The six-story building A is the tallest, featuring commercial formats such as coffee shop, Japanese restaurant, small pubs, and pet cafe on the ground floor. Some shops have started trial operations.

The southeast ground floor of the building is designed as an elevated form, releasing over 40 square meters of open space. This place will become a check-in place for concerts, flash mob collaborations, and other activities.

The “New Quadrant Wuyi” is next to Lane 153 of Wuyi Road. A channel was designed as an open space, which can be used for pedestrian strolls, bay style parking, and activities.

This space will also provide convenience for the use of buildings B and C in the future. It is worth mentioning that the project adopts an active withdrawal approach, adding arcade design to buildings D and E, freeing up the existing interior space of the houses, forming a pedestrian slow passage, achieving the separation of people, vehicles, and non-motorized vehicles, and effectively improving the slow traffic of the block.

Meanwhile, as one of the five key urban renewal projects on Wuyi Road in Changning District, the “WYSH Feiyue Li” is now open to the public.

It introduces businesses with innovative concepts and great potential, and at the same time, holds periodic art themed exhibitions to bring about the cross boundary between the art industry and commercial culture, building a platform for creative ecology.

With the concept of “boundless openness,” “WYSH Feiyue Li” is located on one side of Wuyi Road and with an outer and inner courtyard that integrates with the street established.

By introducing a recreational platform and combining designs such as roofs, terraces, and aerial garden corridors, a “multi-layer platform public space” that allows for walking and sightseeing is connected, further improving the overall public and pedestrian accessibility of Wuyi Road’s historical and scenic area.

On the side of Zhaohua Road, “WYSH Feiyue Li” activates the vitality of the block through a courtyard style square, creating a new destination suitable for urban strolling.

It is worth mentioning that “WYSH Feiyue Li” has created a cultural live house of about 1,100 square meters, which is designed to be high and cross story, and can hold art theme exhibitions periodically, bringing art industry and commercial culture across the border.

Regular introduction of domestic and foreign artists, curators, economic experts, urban culture brand shapers, etc can guide different groups to carry out dialogue and discussion, and create the future together.

In terms of business, “WYSH Feiyue Li” focuses on introducing innovative and potential first stores to create a recognizable trendy commercial space.

In terms of office work, it focuses on the cultural and creative industries, science and technology innovation industries, and integrates related formats such as cultural and artistic creation, research, exhibition, training, exchange, and promotion, gradually forming a “platform” for the incubation and service of various upstream and downstream institutions such as creative design studios and full media.
