The “10,000 Dragons Art Exhibition” was unveiled at the Xiaohui Wang Art Museum at 369 Weining Road on the evening of January 25, and the entire art museum became the world of dragons.
The first AR livestream room in China was unveiled at the same time for a live show of the opening of the exhibition.
The exhibition, which will run through April 20, traces back to the origin of pre-Qin (221-206 BC) dragon culture, based on the trend of contemporary art creation, and with the wings empowered by AIGC new technology, it looks forward to the innovation and future of Chinese dragon culture.
Seeing a golden dragon fly out in the livestream room, audience at the opening ceremony felt particularly shocked, as if they had entered a world of myths and legends.
On New Year’s Day this year, more than 10 institutions including Wang Xiaohui Art Museum jointly launched the “10,000 Dragons AIGC Co Creation Collection Order.”
Since the launch of the solicitation, young artists and AI creators throughout the country have actively participated in the exhibition, with over 10,000 AIGC dragons submitted.
The organizer selected 1,000 of them to debut at the exhibition. In the next stage, new works will be updated every week. At present, the solicitation activity is still ongoing.
Xiaohui Wang Art Museum, the first visual art museum in Shanghai, was officially opened to the public on August 5, 2022. The museum has a total of four floors, with an exhibition area of more than 2,000 square meters. The museum focuses on visual and digital art and present the latest “new” art forms leading the industry to visitors. Just like Wang, an artist who is good at photography, video, new media, sculpture, installation and other art media, this art museum named after her constantly breaks the boundaries of art and vividly convey the deepest feelings of the artist.
