Beautiful peony blooms in garden

In the peony garden that covers an area of about 4,000 square meters in Zhongshan Park, multiple varieties of peonies are in full bloom. The elegant and magnificent peonies blossom, becoming a beautiful scenery in spring.

As one of the famous flower viewing destinations in Shanghai, Zhongshan Park Peony Garden attracts a large number of visitors every spring.

Entering the Peony Garden, the first thing that catches the eye is a sea of colorful peonies. Some have layered petals, like exquisite artworks. Some are like a girl’s skirt, light and graceful. 

They come in a variety of colors, from elegant white and pink to bright red and purple, each emitting a unique charm that is overwhelming.

The establishment of Zhongshan Park Peony Garden can be traced back to 1956, and it is the only planting area for Fahua Peony. 

The Peony Pavilion in the park was first built in 1916 and relocated to its current location in 1934. 

Its traditional architectural style and the stone lion in front of the pavilion all showcase the unique charm of classical Chinese garden. Nowadays, it is home to over 1,500 peonies in 30 varieties, and some are very precious ones.

Construction on public housing starts to benefit young talent

Construction on a public housing project at the intersection of Gubei Road and Maotai Road has kicked off, which is expected to provide 112 condos for rent.

Marsupilami turns The Place into Palombia

Marsupilami roars in The Place, embarking on a forest exploration Journey.

Created by André Franquin in 1952, Marsupilami is on display this time in Changning through May 12. 

The exhibition area features “Forest Fun Book,” “Forest Sports Field,” “Forest Chasing,” and “Forest Treasure Workshop,” allowing parents and children to immerse themselves in the forest of Palombia.

In addition to the IP themed exhibition, The Place will also integrate diverse green activities into the north area of the shopping mall and the habitat garden, creating a more natural living experience for consumers.

Event bridges Chinese, foreign enterprises

China, an Opportunity International Enterprise Cooperation and Exchange Event in Greater Hongqiao Area & “Responsibility, Openness, and Sharing” CSR Excellence Award Ceremony was held on April 12.

Salon for high-quality business development unveiled

The Chinese and Foreign Chambers of Commerce Salon in Shanghai was unveiled on April 12 with the theme “ESG Capabilities of Enterprises and International Development.”

As one of the key activities of the Shanghai Private Economy High Quality Development Service Month, it attracted more than 180 senior executives, including business consuls from the consulates general in Shanghai, representatives of Chinese and foreign chambers of commerce, officials with associations of industry and commerce from other districts in the city, the chambers of commerce of the municipal federation of industry and commerce, chambers of commerce from other provinces and cities and the Yangtze River Delta City Chamber of Commerce Association.
