China, an Opportunity International Enterprise Cooperation and Exchange Event in Greater Hongqiao Area & “Responsibility, Openness, and Sharing” CSR Excellence Award Ceremony was held on April 12. 

The event aims to build a platform for communication between Chinese and foreign enterprises, while helping multinational enterprises understand Shanghai’s new measures to attract foreign investment and optimize the business environment, and focusing on China’s continuously expanding opportunities for foreign cooperation.

Since March this year, many executives from multinational conglomerates have embarked on trips to China, participating in various forums, negotiating business, and examining the investment environment. In the first two months of the year, the number of newly established foreign-funded enterprises in China increased by 34.9 percent from a year ago.

It also builds a platform for Chinese enterprises to go abroad, so that more Chinese enterprises can better and faster “go out” and tell the world the story of China.

At the event, the “Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center (East Hongqiao) - China Enterprise Overseas Headquarters Service Center” was unveiled. 

It will collaborate with leading cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the area, strengthen cooperation with professional service providers and international economic and trade institutions for enterprise going out, and create an integrated online and offline comprehensive service platform.
