The Changning District Science and Technology Festival was unveiled at Zhongshan Park on May 24. During the two-day popular science market at the scene, a group of Changning science and technology innovation enterprises and characteristic popular science activities were showcased, presenting a popular science feast at the doorstep of locals.

The popular science market was divided into three major sections: “Big Food,” “Big Health,” and artificial intelligence.

The 2024 festival will revolve around popular science and people’s livelihoods, and will collaborate with various agencies, communities and towns, and science popularization bases to carry out 100 highly experiential, participatory, and fun science and technology activities throughout Changning, allowing the public to experience the beautiful life brought by technological innovation.

There are 12 national popular science education bases and 14 municipal popular science bases in Changning. The district has received honors such as the pilot city of “science and technology innovation China,” the model of scientific literacy, and the national popular science demonstration area (2021-2025).
