“What ancient myth did the Olympic Torch Relay originate from?” “Which colors do the Olympic rings have?” “Which sports event is not included in the Olympic Games?”... At the beginning of the event, an Olympic knowledge quiz ignited children’s “thirst for knowledge” and “desire to win,” pushing the atmosphere of the event to a climax.

“The Paris Olympics are currently being held, and the hosting of our community’s Olympic carnival is very timely,” watching the children immerse themselves in it, the accompanying parents were also infected by the competitive atmosphere onsite and get excited, “The activity not only allowed children to learn Olympic knowledge, but also established friendships among them.”

As a source of joy for children, the carefully prepared swimming party has become the most anticipated event for everyone. Accompanied by cheers and laughter, the children jumped into the swimming pool to enjoy the rare coolness in the scorching summer.

According to Sheng Hong, Party secretary of the Fourth Neighborhood of Ronghua in Gubei, “as one of the series of activities in Gubei International Community, we hope that Chinese and foreign children in the community can promote the spirit of sports and hard work, enhance their awareness of teamwork, and enrich the summer life of young people through the Olympic Carnival.”

Not far away, The Place mall in Changning District has transformed its outdoor space into a sports arena, showcasing a number of Olympic-themed installations to celebrate the Paris Olympics.

Through August 25, it will feature eight sports zones – cycling, running, table tennis, hurdles, weightlifting, long jump, balance beam, and vaulting – which children can experience.

The ground is adorned with patterns depicting Olympic events such as rowing, fencing, equestrianism, and skateboarding, resembling vivid tapestries that guide everyone to the race track finish line located in the circular plaza.

Against backdrops of Paris landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, everyone has the opportunity to stand on a simulated podium and experience the glory of becoming a champion.
