The Changning District People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries was established on December 11.

Most of its 59 members are enterprises, institutions, and individuals owning a certain influence in the international field and are committed to international friendly communication.

The members are with their businesses covering industries such as economy and trade, technology, culture, education, and health.

The Changning District Friendship Association will closely focus on international construction in the fields of economic and trade cooperation, industrial development, talent services, cultural exchanges, etc.

It will launch a series of projects, build more bridges for people-to-people exchanges and pragmatic cooperation, create more brands for cultural and youth exchanges, continue to expand the Changning International “circle of friends,” continuously promote deeper and more practical external exchanges, and contribute to accelerating the construction of an international community of excellence with global influence.

Changning has a high degree of internationalization and abundant foreign-related resources. It hopes to take the establishment of the district friendship association as an opportunity to focus on improving the overall guidance of the district’s civil diplomacy work, exploring a civil diplomacy operation mechanism with Changning characteristics, and utilizing Changning as a brand to play a greater advantage in international exchanges.
