New hotel for travelers

Located at 1 Konggang Rd. 8th and directly connected to the departure hall of Terminal 1 of the Hongqiao International Airport, Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport officially opened its doors to guests on December 18. 

The hotel is closely connected to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station and Metro Line 10, providing convenient and comfortable experiences for travelers from around the world. It is also the first international brand hotel in the Hongqiao Airport area.

The hotel is invested and built by Shanghai Airport (Group) Co, Ltd and operated and managed by Hilton Group to upgrade the extension services of the airport. 

Afternoon tea to meet more friends

The 15th Hongqiao Afternoon Tea for industrial Internet enterprises to discover Changning was held on December 19, which further expanded the “circle of friends” of the district to lure investment and helped the development of its industrial Internet.

Since the beginning of this year, the “Hongqiao Afternoon Tea” series event has been held for 15 sessions, attracting more than 435 enterprises to engage in exchanges and interactions with the Hongqiao Community of Changning District. 

In addition to tailor-made sessions for German, Japanese, and Korean funded enterprises based on the involvement and concentration of foreign-funded enterprises in Hongqiao Community, special events for industries such as digital economy, low altitude economy, and biomedicine have also been held, focusing Changning’s key industry positioning and new quality productivity, bringing continuous vitality to regional economic development.

‘Unlock the new we’ with ‘surprise’

“Come on, take a moment to unlock the new we” at the Columbia Circle to “play together” with the fashion neighborhood when embracing the new year.

At the end of each year, the Colombia Circle launches distinctive themed beauty displays. This year, emotional symbols are used as creative presentations, with six emotional incarnations of cartoon symbols such as relaxation, surprise, sharing desire, connection, warmth, and exploration desire scattered throughout the neighborhood.

The theme of display this time mainly interprets and expresses the emotional system through a new, intuitive, visual, and culturally inclusive form. 

“We hope that urban people will slow down and come here to find and experience their own emotions,” says manager of the Colombia Circle. Small gifts are prepared for visitors also, according to the manager.

Century-old park gets younger

Zhongshan Park celebrated its 110th birthday this year and is still full of vitality. From a private garden built in 1914 to an urban oasis shared by the people today, Zhongshan Park not only carries a rich history, but also constantly revitalizes itself in the process of modernization.

The park has witnessed the changes of the city and its own transformation in the past century, and has left beautiful memories for many people in Changning and even Shanghai.

It has upgraded various facilities and services to meet the diverse needs of the people. The newly built Citizen Horticultural Center has become a comprehensive venue that integrates science popularization, greening activities, and aesthetic space, attracting more young people to come here and check in.

The reason why Zhongshan Park, which is 110 years old, is getting younger and younger is because it constantly adapts to the development of the times, with an open, integrated, and innovative attitude, constantly meeting the needs of the people. This park, which has gone through a century of vicissitudes, is welcoming the arrival of a new era with a younger and more open attitude.
