The lineup of the concert can be described as “luxurious.” Russian young performer Nikita Kuznetsov, who won the Pop Music category at the 77th World Cup Accordion Championships in 2024, made his debut with a song called “Soviet Song Sonata,” followed by “Sunshine” and “Singing Rooster.”

Next, the duo of Chinese young musicians Sun Jingyi and Hu Hao made their debut. They brought the jazz flavored “Autumn Leaves” and tango inspired “Free Tango.” The tacit cooperation between the two made the music full of liveliness and tension, and there was continuous applause on site.

Subsequently, the Palladio duo brought to the audience “Palladio,” “Little Donkey,” and “Bulgarian Suite.” As the champion duo of the 2024 Castellfedado International Accordion Competition in Italy, their performances are delicate and layered, showcasing the unlimited potential of the accordion in the indoor field.

If the first half is a nostalgic journey of traditional accordion, then the second half is a collision of digital technology and music. Italian musician Pietro Adragna brought a solo performance of electronic accordion. His “Variations on Sicilian Folk Songs,” “Tango Dedicated to Claude,” and “Sparrow” showcased the infinite possibilities of electronic accordion.
