The “Prosperity” peony show was unveiled in Zhongshan Park on April 12, with six ancient style scenes. Visitors immersed themselves in playing traditional games and appreciating the colorful blooming peonies.

The Peony Garden of Zhongshan Park was established in 1956 and is currently the only planting site for French peonies. It houses the Peony Pavilion, which was first built in 1916. The Peony Pavilion is a traditional gable and hip roof architectural style, with a pair of stone lions in front of the pavilion, which is rich in the characteristics of Chinese classical garden architecture. 

The Peony Garden currently has a planting area of 4,000 square meters, with over 30 varieties and more than 1,600 peonies. At present, it is the best viewing period for peonies in full bloom. The Peony Garden has attracted many photography enthusiasts to frequently press the shutter button, and people can enjoy the flowers and park in a relaxed and comfortable manner.
