Accordion festival accordingly

This spring, the 7th International Accordion Culture and Art Week arrived as scheduled. This art festival with the theme of “Echoes of Tradition and Modernity” is not only a musical carnival, but also a symphony of cultural integration, urban vitality, and artistic innovation. 

Top accordion artists from multiple countries and regions around the world, along with outstanding performers from the Yangtze River Delta, gathered in Changning. 

With the sound of the accordion as a link, they connected historical buildings, commercial streets, and people’s lives, painting a magnificent scene of “art and city coexistence.”

New fashion trends to wear

During the Qingming Festival holiday from April 4 to April 6, Livat Shanghai launched “Our Fashion Show” in the mountain courtyard on the first floor of the shopping mall, providing consumers with an immersive experience of sports, fashion, and children’s clothing brands on the fashion runway. 

On the runway, in addition to professional models, a team of 40 “amateur models” consisting of aunties, uncles, teenagers, parent-child families, and outdoor enthusiasts demonstrated confidence and vitality, truly embodying the idea of “giving the discourse power of fashion to every beauty lover.”

In fact, such a variety of activities have become a “standard” for Livat Shanghai. As a “gathering experience center” at the doorstep, Livat Shanghai is committed to creating a better daily life for the people in Shanghai and its surrounding areas. 

Since its opening, the mall has closely followed the construction guidelines of the “15-minute community life circle” and collaborated with onsite brands to launch themed activities such as green and low-carbon, folk culture, fitness, music and dance, which have received widespread praise.

In April, the “Renewal Life Design Festival” grandly kicked off, drawing inspiration from the Scandinavian style. Livat Shanghai has created a symbiotic art forest, natural sound terrace, creative graffiti space, and boundaryless living camp in public areas, which are fun, relaxing, and interactive. 

The event is carried out in collaboration with brands such as IKEA, showcasing the concept of “designing a better life” step by step both inside and outside the venue.

True national color in full bloom

Only peonies have the true national color, and when they bloom, they move the capital city. The magnificent scenery depicted by Tang Dynasty (AD 618–907) poet Liu Yuxi (AD 772-842) can also be seen in Changning.

Nearly 2,000 peonies in Zhongshan Park and Tianshan Park have entered their peak flowering period simultaneously, with more than 30 varieties of peonies blooming in competition. 

Zhongshan Park will also hold a garden party with the theme of “Prosperity,” so that tourists can enjoy the national color and taste the China-Chic in the century old park.

The Peony Garden of Tianshan Park was renovated in 2014, with a total of three peony flower beds and a planting area of about 1,100 square meters. There are more than 10 varieties of peonies, totaling over 400 plants.

Peony blossoms prosper at century-old park

The “Prosperity” peony show was unveiled in Zhongshan Park on April 12, with six ancient style scenes. Visitors immersed themselves in playing traditional games and appreciating the colorful blooming peonies.
