Global program for talent home and abroad

The launch ceremony of the 2025 Changning District Global Talent Introduction Action was held on June 11, which unveiled a series of “bringing in” and “going out” activities as part of a global talent program.

At the event, the Shanghai Hongqiao Overseas Talent One Stop Service Center announced the addition and optimization of the “3+4+7” service package.

Based on the operation of the center since its launch one year ago, Changning optimizes the original functions of employment and entrepreneurship, social integration, and online livestreaming.

Four service measures are added this time, namely the application and recognition of talent home and abroad in the innovation and entrepreneurship areas, the green channel for foreign nationals to apply for work permits (residence permits) and physical examinations, the overseas talent direct connection platform of China Unicom Hongqiao International Talent Service Center, and communication services for foreign nationals.

Meanwhile, seven guidelines were launched, namely entry and exit, investment and entrepreneurship, urban tourism, transit tourism, medical consultation, travel convenience, and pet raising.

Summer nights sleepless

The three-month 2025 Shanghai Nightlife Festival, centered around night shopping, night food, night shows, night entertainment, night tours, night activities, and night reading, was launched in Changning last week together with the first batch of 130 summer night themed activities in the city.

Community plays melodies internationally

When the gentle melody of Joe Hisaishi’s “Always with Me” collided with the passionate rhythm of Coldplay’s “Viva La Vida” on the same stage, and the fingertips of Chinese and foreign students jumped together on the strings, the night sky of Hongqiao Community is illuminated by music and wisdom.

On the evening of June 13, the “Vitality IN Hongqiao” International Community Beautiful Life Festival successfully concluded with the theme of “The Most Beautiful Music Meets the Strongest Brain,” and a cross-border artistic dialogue was brilliantly staged at the “Little United Nations.”

As an important practice of exploring the “three integrations” overseas talent service model in Hongqiao Community, the first International Community Beautiful Life Festival has built a multi-level life integration platform “at home and in buildings” through culture as a medium and governance as the soul.

This closing exhibition, in collaboration with students from renowned universities around the world and the Tongxin Club of Hongqiao Chinese and Foreign Schools, depicted a new vision of “talent co-education” in the international community through three chapters: “Fate and Harmony,” “Cultivation and Mutual Assistance,” and “Reflection and Encountering the Future.”

Art expresses shopping complex

Changning Art Park has launched an immersive art exhibition, accompanied by discounted benefits and exciting performances, bringing a trendy and exciting city carnival to the people.

The exhibition “Fantasy Eden” takes the blooming moments of “flowers and fruits” and the vitality of “vines” as visual clues, using semi open block space to create an immersive fantasy journey with changing scenery.

At the scene, the “vines” and “flower sea” are ingeniously intertwined, extending from the LG1 floor of the shopping mall to the open-air square, adorned with lively and cute “animal sculptures,” and multiple immersive interactive points attract people to check in.

The exhibition was created by Guangzhou artist Joe Ng, who is skilled at capturing the intersection of reality and fantasy through language and expressing inner emotions.

He introduced that “keeping the best moment in the present moment, everything that happens is a gift” is the original intention of this exhibition, hoping to present a scene of “steel” and “petals” dancing together, bringing the audience a happy time that can be “frozen.”
