The 27th Shanghai International Film Festival is here. During the film festival through June 22, multiple cinemas in Changning will enhance the city’s cultural consumption level through the integration of diverse formats, presenting Shanghai’s “City of Film” light and shadow aesthetics.

During the film festival, Shanghai Film City collaborates with various merchants to create an immersive film culture experience through the organic integration of diverse formats such as “cultural, business, tourism, and sports exhibitions.”

Tianshan Cinema at Hongqiao Art Center launches the “Light and Shadow Star River: Film Festival Fan Carnival” event with the theme of “Exploring Diverse Film Cultures and Building Interactive Bridges for Film Fans.”

This year marks the 120th anniversary of Chinese cinema. Ever since the birth of China's first movie “Dingjun Mountain,” the Chinese cinema has amazed the world with its rapid development, diversity and artistry.

China is now the world’s largest film market. Every year, scores of acclaimed works emerge and impress movie buffs from all over the world.
