Expo for low altitude to be unveiled at NECC

With the participation of eight companies from Changning, the 2025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo will be held from July 23 through 26 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).

This exhibition has a large scale and a variety of highlights, with a total area of over 60,000 square meters and nearly 300 exhibitors. During the exhibition, more than 30 forums will be held, expected to attract over 50,000 visitors. 

The exhibition focuses on the development needs and application scenarios of low altitude enterprises, highlighting the industrial chain of low altitude infrastructure, manufacturing, and supporting services, as well as the application chains of low altitude transportation, urban-rural management, commercial integration, and personal consumption. 

Hence, to create an exhibition and exchange platform for exhibitors and audiences in low altitude economic management, research, production, service, and application.

E-commerce goes beyond the boundaries 

The 2025 Shanghai Cross-border E-commerce High Quality Development Forum was held in Changning since the downtown district is making every effort to turn itself into an agglomeration area for headquarters of overseas companies in the Yangtze River Delta region.

Against the backdrop of globalization challenges, the cross-border e-commerce industry in Shanghai has shown a strong growth trend. By optimizing service mechanisms and supporting policies, Shanghai will provide solid guarantees for industrial development and work together with business pals home and abroad to promote higher quality development of cross-border e-commerce in the city.

Another 3 on the city’s blueprint for foreign investment

Three companies from Changning played their part in the official recognition of regional headquarters of multinational conglomerates and the signing of foreign investment agreements on July 11.

Korea Ginseng Corporation has been recognized as regional headquarters for multinational conglomerates while the landing of the Magnum Ice Cream Company’s investment arm in Shanghai was considered a key project of Changning.

At the same time, the online platform of Pet Fresh will be based in the Changning area of the Hongqiao International Open Hub. 

Summer camp of LINE FRIENDS nonperpetual

Starting from July 16, the summer vacation town of LINE FRIENDS will be launched at Livat Shanghai while a lucky draw of LINE FRIENDS limited peripherals will be carried out among the members of shopping mall through September 4.

LINE FRIENDS will launch a pop-up event in the atrium of Livat Shanghai on the first floor, creating a colorful town in the color scheme of macarons. The summer vitality will be overwhelming, and children can have fun playing.

The “Flower Shuttle Ladder” is full of a magical and childlike atmosphere, where children can walk through paths decorated with flowers and slide smoothly from large slides to soft sand pools. 

The “Building Blocks Secret Realm” will combine elements such as building blocks, climbing facilities, and trampolines, allowing children to play and learn in fun. 

The “Wild Fun Sand City” makes people feel like they are on a beach by the sea, and they can enjoy the wonderful fun of excavation and discovery in an immersive sand pit treasure hunt game.

Destinations recommended for outdoor coolness

In the hot summer, if you don’t want to stay in an air-conditioned room all the time, but to find a bit of coolness outdoors, the ecological greenway of Changning Outer Ring Forest is a half-hour accessible place close to nature for high-density urban areas.

The greenway starts from Suzhou Creek in the north and ends at the airport nursery on the west side of Huqingping Expressway in the south, with a length of 6.25 kilometers. 

Here, the trees are dense and lush, with not only waterways and wetlands such as the Outer Ring River W. and Beixiajiabang River, but also numerous winding mini wetlands hidden in the dense forest.

Entering the Suzhou Creek Landscape Trail from Changning Road and Furongjiang Road, the most eye-catching feature is undoubtedly the “Tower of the Future.” 

From a distance, its silver scales shimmer with a metallic sheen on the exterior walls, resembling a suit of steel armor, exuding a strong sense of science fiction.

Connected to the “Tower of the Future” is a 1,600-meter-long Suzhou Creek landscape corridor, winding and twisting with a width ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 meters. 

Strolling through it, it feels like crossing a green ocean, stepping on the rhythm of nature with every step. Along the way, you will encounter an uncle who plays saxophone, and the melodious melody adds infinite charm to this journey.

The bamboo forest in summer seems to have its own coolness, with a gentle breeze blowing by, bringing a hint of coolness. The chirping of cicadas and the chirping of birds interweave into a natural melody. 

The stream of the New Hongqiao Central Garden flows down from the “Heaven Pool” and shuttles among rocks of various shapes, making a tinkling sound, creating a primitive natural beauty. This is a paradise for small animals and a spiritual sanctuary for urbanites to escape the hustle and bustle.
