The European market has become a "destination" for many companies expanding overseas, while the ESG concept has provided new direction and momentum for such expansion. During the meeting, seven enterprises—Ingka Centres (China) Management Co., Ltd., DNV (China) Co., Ltd., Yara Asia Pte. Ltd., TÜV Austria Inspection & Technology Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Arcadis Consulting (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., King & Wood Mallesons, and Amazon Innovation Center (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Shanghai Branch—participated, exchanging views on their development regarding overseas expansion and ESG practices, and putting forward relevant demands and suggestions. Attending government departments provided on-site responses.

Liu expressed gratitude to the corporate representatives for their long-term contributions to the economic and social development of Changning District. He stated that Changning possesses the locational advantage of being "Bet Hongqiao" and the distinctive feature of being highly open. As the only central urban area in Shanghai within the Hongqiao International Open Hub, it boasts a rich corporate ecosystem, well-developed outbound platforms, abundant resources for global expansion, and diverse international activities. Facing the European market with its broad prospects for overseas expansion, Changning will persist in developing in the same direction as enterprises, further enhance the precision of its services, continuously strengthen the functions of the Integrated Service Platform for Enterprises Going Global, advance the construction of the Hongqiao Enterprise Overseas Headquarters Cluster, and actively build a comprehensive support system for global expansion of products, investment, and service. This will include forming lists of government services and market-oriented professional services to help more enterprises expand globally from Changning and foster greater value creation.

Deputy District Director Zhao Yongzun presided over the meeting. Personnel from Shanghai Exhibition Center Customs, the District Talent Bureau, the District Government Office, the District Government Research Office, the District Foreign Affairs Office, the District Development and Reform Commission, the District Commerce Commission, the District Market Supervision Administration, the District Investment Promotion Office, the District Taxation Bureau, and the District East Hongqiao Office participated.
