Since the launch of the Livat Shanghai Blossoming Life Design Festival, a series of creative events including floral art installations, art exhibitions and themed pop-ups have been unfolding. As the spring atmosphere grows increasingly rich, the mall has transformed itself into a "city garden," inviting citizens to exchange spring moments through their lenses and draw unique life inspiration from the shopping experience.

Spring scenery delights the eyes

With flowers as the medium, Livat Shanghai has created breathtaking floral landscapes both inside and outside the venue, where greenery spreads and floral scents float — a must-see highlight of the event. The dynamic art installations and the garden bursting with spring colors attract visitors eager to take photos.

Outside the mall, more than a hundred potted plants and flowers surround the resting benches. Sitting among them, one feels embraced by the gentleness of spring. The white treehouse resembles a castle from a fairy tale, with a purple flower "waterfall" cascading from its roof. Beside it, a pink slide stands out like a leaping ray of spring sunshine against a backdrop of lush greenery. Next to Ikea's iconic little monkey sculpture, a newly added spring garden bursts with colorful blooms.

Inside, public spaces such as Youranhui also hold surprises. Winding floral displays add a touch of romance and liveliness to the Nordic-style spaces. Stepping into the Nordic small town, you will see high-hanging colorful tassels sway gently in the breeze, each movement reflecting a glass-like luster.

As the setting sun casts its golden glow, the orange-red sunset spreads across the sky. A distant airplane cuts through the clear sky like a bird, and the panoramic view of Linkong Park unfolds before your eyes. On the wooden stepped benches nearby, many citizens sit quietly alone or chat in small groups, letting time flow by in comfort and ease.

As spring quickens its pace, the entire cherry blossom forest planted by Livat Shanghai in the outdoor west plaza has reached full bloom, with layers of pink and white petals creating an exceptionally romantic atmosphere. From April 4 to 30, citizens who come to capture the scenery and participate in interactive activities on Xiaohongshu can also receive exquisite gifts.

Endless fun and activities

At the entrance on the first floor of Ikea Shanghai Linkong Mall, a new exhibition titled "Home is My Spiritual Garden" offers visitors special life inspiration. Presented by Ikea Shanghai Linkong Mall, the exhibition transforms home spaces into a personal garden that nourishes the soul. The Ikea PAX wardrobe becomes a "magic door" connecting three themed spaces, and the new Ikea GREJSIMOJS collection appears as a "fun guest" of the exhibition.

Inside the "Little Nursery," TROFAST storage boxes nurture interests and inspiration in an orderly environment. "Soft Spring Soil" uses a complete sleep solution to create a night garden bridging reality and dreams, providing a resting place for body and mind. In the "Fireworks Garden," the dining table becomes a stage for emotional connection, recreating the warm scene of sharing afternoon tea with family and friends in a garden.

The exhibition runs until May 5 and is free to the public. Visitors can also enjoy a one-stop experience of eating, drinking, shopping and entertainment, redeem Ikea member-exclusive merchandise, and stack multiple discounts, making the exhibition trip even more rewarding.

Head to the L1 Mountain Atrium, where Livat Shanghai has partnered with Erma New Art to present the "Fluffy Me" art pop-up, creating a warm and romantic pet-friendly healing space. Artists from different countries, including Duyuan, Lin, RuthyKim, Su Xiaoci, and Xingke Wuyu, use pets as their creative inspiration, soothing the weary hearts of urban dwellers with their warm artistic touches.

Stepping into the space feels like entering a fantasy world of pets. There are scenes combining Chinese garden aesthetics with playful anthropomorphic pet humor: a laid-back dog wagging its tail and lying on a rockery, a lucky cat squatting beside a carved window lattice — the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. In the "Xingke Wuyu" themed setting, cute characters such as Little Star, Kaka and A Gua playfully interact, adding childlike charm. The internet-famous cow cat newnew transforms into a band lead singer, "performing" with energy, vividly recreating the lively scene of a concert. From now until June 1, in addition to immersive photo spots and cultural merchandise, the pop-up also offers surprises such as stamp collecting with purchase, pet portrait drawing, and limited-edition signed prints by artists.

Over the Qingming holiday, even more fun activities continue to launch at Livat Shanghai. From April 4 to 6, the M&M's national fun audition bus landed66 at the mall's Gate 2, kicking off a Marvel-themed interactive feast. The event includes a free photo zone and immersive interactive area, featuring audition warm-ups, fun makeup, a headline photo booth, and a debut spotlight, inviting citizens to experience the joy of "making their debut."

From April 4 to 25, the SHOKAY × SIVA Alpine Azalea-Themed Knitting Exhibition will be held at the mall. Under the theme "Nomadic Renewal: Highland in the City," the exhibition incorporates highland elements such as yaks, flowers and grasslands into yarn knitting, using fiber art to depict the ecological beauty of Tibet. On-site eco-friendly experience sessions will also be offered, allowing visitors to personally feel the "warmth of the highlands."

According to Livat Shanghai, the Blossoming Life Design Festival will run until April 30, unfolding in three main phases: "Small Inspiration, Big Attitude," "Fashion Without Borders, Creating Your Own Style," and "Blooming New Posture, Enjoying Life." During the Qingming Festival holiday, citizens could purchase a spring food package for 168 yuan to enjoy the flavors of spring and premium services. During the festival, the mall also partnered with 55 brands, offering members 5x points on qualifying purchases. More experiential content will be launched successively, including the "Floral Her Gathering" olfactory healing space where scents can be smelled and touched, flower-themed Zumba to relieve physical and mental fatigue, and art graffiti inspired by flowers.
