New landmark complex Crystal Bridge to fully open in October 发布时间:2026-05-15 信息来源:上海长宁
As a landmark mixed‑use development in Changning District, Crystal Bridge represents a total investment of over 8 billion yuan and a gross floor area of nearly 250,000 square meters. Enjoying the dual TOD advantage of being atop Metro Lines 2 and 15, it serves as a key business gateway connecting Shanghai’s central urban area with the greater Hongqiao hub. According to Crystal Bridge, the project has achieved notable leasing success and will fully open in October this year.
More seamless spatial design

Crystal Bridge is jointly developed by Tishman Speyer, New Changning Group, and Mitsubishi Estate, with world‑renowned architecture firm NBBJ leading the design and Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei handling interior and landscape design. At the intersection of Tianshan Road and Gubei Road, the iconic diamond‑faceted glass curtain wall forms an open urban interface, “embracing” the flow of people.

The project adheres to ESG principles, is built to LEED Gold certification and green building standards, and creates a sustainable, eco‑friendly community. In terms of details, the project adopts sponge city and rainwater recycling systems, with water‑saving irrigation covering 90% of the green area, photovoltaic panels installed on about 30% of the roof area, and multiple green roof terraces organically combined to make the site comfortable and energy‑efficient. Office buildings use intelligent destination dispatch elevator systems, while commercial escalators are controlled by motion sensors, effectively improving operational efficiency.

On the site, five Grade A office towers are arranged in an offset layout, surrounded by 13,000 square meters of green space that brings a refreshing sense of nature. Visitors can experience the changing seasons while enjoying leisurely social moments. Each step reveals new views: a sunken plaza, an open‑air amphitheater, and a “cloud garden” unfold one after another. An aerial corridor serves as a flexible link, cleverly connecting office towers and commercial spaces, fully showcasing the ingenuity of architectural aesthetics.
More innovative business mix

In the Crystal Bridge T1 office building exhibition hall, natural light blends seamlessly with interior spaces, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in a garden‑style office environment. When you look into the distance, the interwoven view of residential buildings, commercial towers, and soft clouds creates a layered and moving panorama. Two large‑scale display models for the commercial and office areas systematically present the project’s overall spatial layout and full business mix.

Crystal Bridge offers approximately 160,000 square meters of office space, focusing on the digital economy and international trade. It has successfully attracted the East China headquarters of Huolala, JIA Petcare, ANA, UBE Corporation, and other enterprises, demonstrating a clear industrial clustering effect. The first batch of office tenants has already moved in. In the future, the project will leverage an intelligent online platform to seamlessly connect commercial and office ecosystems, providing one‑stop smart services for consumers and office workers, including convenient parking point integration, online reservations, and more, offering integrated online‑offline convenience. To meet corporate needs, the project continues to enhance supporting services to empower business growth.

The approximately 30,000 square meters of commercial space has gathered a range of quality brands, covering upscale dining, specialty retail, quality living, and leisure social venues, many of which are debut stores, flagship stores, or concept stores. On the ground floor, the high‑end dining lineup is impressive: Xiao Fu Xu, a premium Fujian cuisine brand suitable for business banquets and winner of the 2025 Golden Phoenix Tree Award, offers an immersive experience of Quanzhou’s dining culture; Wanniu Wagyu Yakiniku and Inachu Bistro bring international flavors; Wanzhu Bistro, under the Huitingyan Group, breaks traditional Anhui cuisine stereotypes with a casual style that fits the night‑time economy; Commune X offers a unique design to unlock new social dining scenarios. Other distinctive dining options include Chǎng, the first national store of a light Western food brand, and Hefeng Qianmo, the country’s first vegetarian restaurant. Together with aesthetic retail brand Chapter and Wang Xing Zhe Pet Hotel, they create a rich variety of offerings.

The B1 level focuses on trendy urban lifestyle and daily necessities: a food court and Su Xiaoliu Tea House’s concept store cater to diverse tastes; Xiongzhi Bakery’s flagship store creates a new destination for bread and desserts. Health‑oriented facilities such as 24/7 FITNESS and Dr.Stretch, retail brands like trendy water bottle brand Stanley and fashion accessories brand Teleties, as well as the first national stores of healing experience brands Nanpu Guangyu and Fu Yun Xuan, and Rolife, a trendy cultural and creative brand, bring consumers brand‑new lifestyle experiences.

“Located in the bustling Hongqiao‑Gubei business district, we have not only introduced innovative store formats of many quality brands and niche brands to fill market gaps, but also partnered with chain brands to create upgraded stores and atypical outlets, jointly building an all‑day immersive new consumption scene. At the same time, the entire project is fully connected, directly accessible from the subway, offering great convenience,” said a manager of Crystal Bridge.
A more diversified “crystal” life

In March this year, the MODE Shanghai Fashion Trade Show for the Autumn/Winter 2026 season was held at Crystal Bridge, showcasing the complex as a stage for fashion creativity and a hub for efficient business matching, injecting continuous vitality into the city’s role as an international fashion capital.
Blending nature, art, and lifestyle, the project will continue to create a “boundary‑free living circle.” In terms of the debut economy, it will co‑brand with well‑known domestic and international IPs and artists to launch large‑scale decorative installations and themed scenes, establishing itself as a regional launchpad for new brands and a source of trends. For the night‑time economy, using light art as a draw, the project will introduce and nurture nighttime extended‑hour formats such as “coffee by day, wine by night,” themed dining bars, outdoor seating, and performances, becoming a regional nightlife destination. For the market economy, themed markets will be held regularly, bringing together cultural creative items, handicrafts, light meals, and more to create an immersive social space.

Next, the project will collaborate with renowned public artist Liu Yi to present “Light Whisperer,” an art installation that weaves a unique artistic dreamscape with light and shadow, adding poetic charm to the urban space. In partnership with aesthetic retail brand Chapter, a pop‑up art experience featuring the healing IP “Flower Girl” will soon meet the public.
