From May 22 to 24 and May 29 to 31, 11:00–20:00 daily, Livat Shanghai is hosting its first-ever food festival, the “Wildfield Market.” Centered on the theme of “freshness,” the event brings together over 40 specialty stalls, delivering the natural flavors of the countryside right into the city streets, allowing residents to bring the gifts of nature into their daily lives.
Bringing the “freshness of the fields” naturally to Livat

At the scene, our reporter saw wooden-colored stalls arranged in a staggered pattern, warm yellow string lights swaying gently, and the breeze carrying the scent of grass mixed with the aroma of food, drawing large crowds of eager visitors. The market offers everything from fresh farm produce to popular street snacks, from healthy nibbles to trendy desserts, catering to a wide range of tastes.

SUCZUG AGORA serves fresh vegetables grown in harmony with nature, still carrying morning dew. Their vegetable gift packs caught everyone’s eye as soon as the stall opened. Dian Wa offers freshly baked black chocolate banana and rose mango roasted milk fans (rushan), with a creamy aroma and a crispy outer shell wrapped around a sweet filling, beautiful and delicious. The “wok hei” from X Kitchen can be smelled from far away; their wok-fried pineapple snowflake beef cubes are sizzling hot and a top seller.

Swiss Mövenpick Ice Cream brings over 20 flavors, from classic vanilla and cappuccino to blueberry cheesecake and mint chocolate, perfect for the warming weather. Buwan Zhizao brings vibrant live plants into the bustling market, each pot full of natural wild charm.

The market is not only a feast for human taste buds – pets get their own treats too. Brandi Pet Fresh offers handmade snacks, custom cakes, and fresh wet food.
In-house merchants at Livat Shanghai also actively joined in. Syiong offers small portions of mango sticky rice and green papaya salad, easy for visitors to eat while strolling. DELORSIM, which just opened recently, launched a free mini-cake giveaway with customer interaction. Popular flavors like blueberry and chocolate, not overly sweet, received rave reviews.
Making gatherings warmer through good food

Unlike indoor settings, the Wildfield Market is set in the outdoor Huixin Garden of Livat Shanghai, a space that naturally exudes a relaxed, rustic vibe. Visitors who get tired from strolling can sit down and rest in the specially designated camping area, listen to live music, and feel the gentle breeze on their faces.
A local resident surnamed Chen, who lives nearby, told reporters that she spent over an hour walking around with her child, buying vegetables, crunchy nut snacks, and even picking out a small succulent to put on her office desk. “I usually face a computer screen all day at work. It’s so healing to find a place like this in the city where I can enjoy a breeze and eat something delicious.”

Besides eating, strolling, and enjoying the scenery, the market also offers fun interactive experiences. The “Come & Break the Cob” challenge drew a crowd of eager participants, with both adults and children trying to break off a whole corn cob by hand. Cheers and laughter filled the air, creating an especially lively atmosphere. In addition, public “experience officers” have been recruited. Visitors who come and interact can receive lovely gifts.
The market is co‑presented by Livat Shanghai, Fair Field, Xuji, Future Table Industry Alliance, and Beijing Social Innovation. “The Wildfield Market opens a new chapter for our first food festival. We want to bring the countryside into the city, allowing residents to experience the taste of nature without traveling far. We also hope everyone can shed their fatigue and enjoy a gentle, nature‑embracing leisure experience,” a Livat Shanghai manager said.

Since its launch in May, Livat Shanghai’s first food festival has been widely loved by residents, with many comments saying, “Every week brings something new – good food makes gatherings warmer.” The “Eat‑Up Contest” held in mid‑May was especially memorable, with public voting selecting the top three champions – Chef Fei, Yixu Sukiyaki, and Heytea – while merchants such as the Hunan dish restaurant Xiang Spicy Spicy, YEAH GELATO Ice Cream, and 7FRESH Supermarket also gained huge popularity.
By integrating resources inside and outside the venue and partnering with multiple local brands and institutions, Livat Shanghai is not only offering residents a brand‑new consumption experience but also injecting fresh vitality into the city’s holiday economy and outdoor consumption.
