On the afternoon of May 28, as the main stage of the 2026 Changning Science Festival series, the Shanghai Silicon Lane Super Individual Open Day was held at Silicon Lane NO.1. Under the theme “Talent Gathers in Silicon Lane, Intelligence Links the Future,” the event brought together government, industry, capital, finance and startup projects. Focusing on the emerging trend of OPC (One Person Company) entrepreneurship, it provided a platform for “super individual” entrepreneurs in the AI era to exchange ideas and collaborate, through keynote sharing, project roadshows, resource matchmaking, and roundtable forums.

With rapid advancements in technologies such as large language models, AI agents, and cloud computing, the “super individual” is emerging as a new wave of entrepreneurship in the digital economy. Leveraging AI tools and digital platforms, solo entrepreneurs are now able to efficiently integrate content creation, business operations, global collaboration and other full-chain capabilities. The vision of “one person, one company” is gradually becoming a reality.
In the keynote sharing session, an architect from Alibaba Cloud spoke on the topic “Development trends of AI large models and their implementation across industries.” He advised entrepreneurs to plan their future architecture carefully, including models, AI tools, and data applications, and to choose full‑stack AI partners with sustainable development capabilities. Alibaba staff also demonstrated a practical application scenario of “DingTalk + Wukong = OPC,” exploring how to help “super individuals” achieve more efficient operations management and business innovation.

China Unicom (Shanghai) Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. focused on OPC entrepreneurial pain points, presenting the UniAI • Smart Shanghai computing power solution and an exclusive OPC intelligent agent package, sharing its product service system and computing power packages designed for small businesses and AI startup teams.

China Construction Bank Shanghai Changning Branch gave an on‑site interpretation of the “OPC Comprehensive Financial Service Plan,” providing full‑cycle financial support for “one‑person companies” in areas such as account services, tech innovation financing, park matchmaking, and wealth management.

The event also featured a special roadshow for high‑quality sci‑tech innovation projects, showcasing outstanding projects and empowering entrepreneurs. Black Lake Technology, as a representative of an outstanding enterprise that grew up locally in Changning, demonstrated its AI‑driven flexible manufacturing practices, which have already helped nearly 40,000 factories complete digital and intelligent upgrades. Original Force presented a new model for global merchandise operations using AI agents through its “Shengcai Agent.” Benshi Culture, using the THEONE brand case study, shared how AI helps consumer brands achieve OPC‑style lightweight entrepreneurship, – after systematically introducing AI tools, the company’s revenue per employee jumped from about 250,000 yuan last year to around 2 million yuan this year. In its view, AI is a tool that amplifies strengths, enabling more individuals and small teams to enter broader markets.

Investment guests from Gobi Partners, Vertex Ventures, and China Construction Bank Shanghai Changning Branch provided on‑site commentary and raised support signs. Representatives from investment institutions and entrepreneurs engaged in multiple rounds of exchanges on technology implementation, business models, and financing pathways, offering precise guidance and matchmaking opportunities for the projects.

The event concluded with a roundtable forum themed “The Rise of the Individual – New Opportunities and New Ecosystems for OPC Entrepreneurship Enabled by AI.” Guests from Xinfei Technology, Shanghai IGS Maker Space Management Co., Ltd., China Unicom (Shanghai) Industrial Internet Co., Ltd., Gobi Partners, and Black Lake Technology held in‑depth discussions on the current state and future trends of the OPC entrepreneurship model, covering incubator services, computing power support, capital perspectives, and industrial practice. The consensus was that AI technology is significantly lowering the barriers to entrepreneurship, making “solo entrepreneurship with efficient operations” possible. The synergy of parks, computing power, finance, policies and other forces will further unleash individual innovation vitality. “Super individuals” represented by OPC are becoming a vital force in cultivating new productive forces in the digital economy era.

The event was organized by the District Science and Technology Commission and the District Association for Science and Technology. Relevant leaders from the District Science and Technology Commission, the District Association for Science and Technology, and Huayang Road Subdistrict attended the event, along with more than 50 representatives from high‑quality sci‑tech innovation enterprises, investment institutions, incubators, and media.

The District Science and Technology Commission stated that Changning is at a critical stage of accelerating its transformation into “a strong digital economy district, an open and connected hub, a quality living destination, and a fertile ground for innovation and entrepreneurship.” This Silicon Lane Super Individual Open Day is a vivid example of how Changning uses the Science Festival as a bridge to extend innovation resources to the grassroots and empower individuals – “Technology originates in Changning, scenarios are deployed worldwide.” On this fertile ground for innovation and entrepreneurship, every “super individual” who dares to pursue their dreams can find their own stage. Looking ahead, Changning will continue to deepen the construction of “Digital Silicon Lane,” further optimize the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, promote deep integration of technology and scenarios, and help more young talent, startup teams, and tech enterprises realize their dreams and win a shared future in Changning.
