The Changning New-Quality Youth Enterprises Launch Campaign & Young Entrepreneurs Exploring Xinhua was held at the Xinhua Road Subdistrict Community Party Mass Service Center on the afternoon of July 31. Some 60 young entrepreneurs active in artificial intelligence, the digital economy, fashion consumption, cultural creativity, finance and investment, education and research, healthcare and new energy gathered to build a communication and cooperation network for young founders.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Hub and the Changning Young Entrepreneurs Lounge, was officially inaugurated during the event. Developed as an innovation service platform tailored for young entrepreneurs, the lounge delivers diverse, streamlined services covering entrepreneurial networking, resource matching, capacity building and shared office facilities. It aims to cultivate a thriving ecosystem for youth innovation and startup development.

A new cohort of members of the Changning Association of Young Entrepreneurs in Emerging Industries was formally introduced. Thirty-six young pioneers working in emerging sectors joined the association following competitive recommendations from district departments. The new recruits have an average age of 36. Ninety-seven percent hold bachelor's degrees or higher, and 60 percent boast overseas experience, bringing fresh energy to Changning's young entrepreneurial community.

The Changning Emerging Industry Elite Talent Succession Program was launched at the ceremony with five mentors and representatives of paired young entrepreneurs taking part. Veteran business owners and senior executives will act as volunteer mentors matched with young founders. Through experience sharing, startup coaching and resource coordination, established leaders will guide emerging innovators to avoid unnecessary obstacles and fuel the growth of creative projects.

During the panel discussion, young entrepreneurs and specialists from fashion consumption, artificial intelligence and other industries shared perspectives on brand incubation, industrial innovation and AI development based on their entrepreneurial journeys and market insights.

Xinhua Road Subdistrict presented its regional business environment and innovation resources. The Changning District Talent Affairs Bureau offered briefings on talent policies, explaining standards for talent recognition and support packages to help young entrepreneurs fully understand local incentives.

After the ceremony, attendees visited Columbia Circle and Xftech. The field tour allowed participants to gain first-hand knowledge of Xinhua Road's innovation landscape and corporate operations, opening doors for mutually beneficial collaboration.

"The majority of us are of similar age, and our industries overlap in many areas," participating entrepreneurs said. "Platforms like this help founders communicate and connect resources. We hope more partnerships will emerge." Several entrepreneurs secured prospective deals. "Offline networking opportunities are invaluable. I have met peers and established channels for future cooperation," one founder noted.

As China's first district-level association focused on young entrepreneurs in emerging industries, the Changning Association of Young Entrepreneurs in Emerging Industries regularly organizes networking events, resource matchmaking and public welfare initiatives. It hosts the "Youth Link" event series and operates the pop-up "Xinghui Youth Space." Members contribute to programs supporting disadvantaged teenagers, paired regional assistance and disaster relief efforts. Association participants have claimed first and second prizes at municipal competitions including the Shanghai Global Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Thanks to the association's support for startup projects, more than a dozen high-quality enterprises have settled in Changning.

The Communist Youth League Changning District Committee has continuously upgraded its youth innovation service framework to build a youth-friendly district, attract entrepreneurial talent and refine the innovation environment. Authorities will keep launching exchange platforms and optimizing talent support services. The district seeks to offer robust growth opportunities for young entrepreneurs, enabling more founders to establish businesses and pursue ambitions in Changning and inject youthful momentum into the growth of local emerging industries.
