Recently, the "Sailing Globally, Supported by Professional Expertise" Enterprise Global Expansion & Hongqiao Afternoon Tea Salon was held at Dawning Center. Enterprise representatives, experts, scholars and representatives from investment and financing institutions held in-depth exchanges centering on "enterprises going global."

At present, a growing number of enterprises are actively exploring overseas markets and planning global layouts. However, they still face numerous practical obstacles in areas such as compliance management, tax planning and cross-border finance. The salon aims to gather resources from all sides, discuss viable overseas expansion paths, and effectively meet the new demands of enterprises pursuing global development.
During the event, the Changning District Commission of Commerce gave a key introduction to the construction of the Hongqiao Headquarters Cluster for Enterprises Going Global, while Hongqiao Subdistrict presented the local business environment and enterprise support services. Professionals from many countries and regions around the world shared practical insights covering core topics including overseas expansion trend, national policies, compliance certification, tax structure and cross-border finance.
"Supporting enterprises to go global is a key development priority for Changning. Exchange events gathering cross-disciplinary professionals like this are extremely valuable," said Dr. Pang Yang, academic consultant of Lujiazui Chuanqi Institute of Digital Economy. He noted that global expansion is a systematic undertaking, and exchanges of experience across various fields help enterprises understand markets and tackle challenges in a more comprehensive manner.

Wang Yaozhen, who boasts years of legal service experience focusing on the German market, believes that it is an inevitable trend for Chinese enterprises to go global. "There are many potential pitfalls on the path of overseas expansion. We hope to accurately match enterprises' demands through face-to-face communication, helping them avoid detours and achieve steady expansion."
The salon covered all key links of enterprises' overseas expansion. During the interactive session, enterprise representatives raised questions based on their own development needs and engaged in in-depth communication with guests. On-site consultation booths were set up by Changning District Human Resources Public Service Center to provide supporting human resource services.

"This salon is highly practical and targeted. It offers clear references for our future overseas layout plans," a participating enterprise representative shared after the event.

The salon is one of a series of activities hosted by Hongqiao Subdistrict during Changning's Government Open Month. Moving forward, Hongqiao Subdistrict will provide butler-style follow-up support for enterprises' demands, continuously improve the service ecosystem for overseas expansion, and help enterprises venture overseas and develop steadily.
