Shanghai Linkong Economic Zone is located at the west side of Changning District, adjacent to the world’s largest Hongqiao integrated traffic hub, its planned total area measuring 5.14 square kilometers. With its regional advantage of Hongqiao commercial area, Shanghai Linkong Economic Zone takes pride in its industrial strength in its numerous headquarters of famous enterprises, its environmental strength in its first-rate service and support of innovation, and its accomplished policy support strength. Shanghai Linkong Economic Zone has become a new space in Hongqiao and a new name card of Changning.
Shanghai Linkong Economic Zone is one of the three major economic clusters of Changning District in the implementation of ‘Develop Hongqiao, Upgrade Functions, Digital Changning, International Urban Area’, in the development of 21st century economy and society, and in the strategy of interactive development of Yangtze River Delta area, and is a function supporting area of Changning District in the docking of the construction of Shanghai International Trade Center. Linkong Economic Zone adheres to the development orientation of ‘Headquartes Economy, Hongqiao Portal’, devoted to the realization of the objective of developing itself into a ‘garden, high-tech and headquarters style’ and business-residence-office integrated ‘headquarters zone, dynamic urban area and harmonious community’.
After a 20-year development, the economic zone has grown to be an industrial cluster of high-end business headquarters of information service sector, aviation service sector and modern logistics sector, assembling headquarters of well-know domestic and foreign enterprises like Unilever, Bosch, and Eaton, famous information service enterprises like Ericsson, Staples, and Ctrip, and well-reputed logistics services like Federal Express, Yangtze River Express, and Jinda International. Currently, more than 2000 enterprises are registered, of which over 800 are registered office enterprises, including more than 300 headquarters enterprises of various industries and 10 world-top-500 enterprises. .
