    Established by Hong Pingtao in 1983 in Taipei, the Caves Art Center has witnessed Taiwan’s flourishing economic development during the 1980s and its diversified cultural development in the 1990s. The Caves Art Center came to Shanghai in 2006, spanning a bridge for the exchange of art and culture between China’s Mainland and Taiwan.

    Upon arriving at the museum, you will be infected by a strong artistic atmosphere by the presence of the old-fashioned wooden armchair, oil paintings, sculptures and potteries. Whenever you come, the owner of the museum would always be there, extending his warm welcome. Also an art lover like each visitor to the museum, the owner of the museum is always available for a chat over tea, which may not only be an edifying experience for art, but also a chance to enjoy the integration of the cultures of the two banks.
