The platform was officially launched on October 10 this year, and now covers 20 rail transit (including maglev), more than 1,560 ground buses and full line ferries throughout the city, providing full link travel services.

The app can realize the integration of codes of different traffic forms, so that citizens can get rid of switching between different travel applications and experience the one-stop seamless travel service of subway, bus and ferry.

On the basis of rich MaaS data information and in combination with users’ travel habits, the intelligent travel planning function can recommend the most appropriate customized travel scheme, such as “subway plus bus,” “subway plus cycling” and other combination modes, and can also be arranged and displayed in “short time,” “low cost” and other options according to users’ preferences to help users make “smarter” travel decisions.

Starting from December 3, Shanghai residents are able to swipe a code on new channels including Suishenban, both app and mini-programs, to take either Metro, buses or ferry boats.

They can also use the code on the Shanghai public traffic card app and Suishenxing app, the Shanghai's all-in-one mobile platform for green commuting in city, as the city has finished all renovations of 10,517 gate machines in 508 stations on the 20 Metro lines, including the maglev, according to the Shanghai Transportation Commission.

Instead of scanning the venue code and changing apps to take public transportation, passengers only need to show their code on Suishenban, Suishenxing and other official transportation apps, as those codes have been upgraded to include the last PCR test time.

By using the all-in-one code to transfer transportation, such as between bus and Metro, users can enjoy a 1-yuan (14 US cents) discount, according to the officials.

Residents can also enter other public venues, such as shopping malls by scanning the codes on Suishenxing app and Suishenban.
