Changningers among city award recipients

Five among the 50 Shanghai Magnolia Silver Award recipients this year are from Changning. They are Francesco Lorenzetto, vice president- North East Asia of Exyte Shanghai Co Ltd, Mario Moretti, Asia senior director of Rina Italy Classification Society (China) Co Ltd, Koichi Matsumoto, chief executive officer of Yamato International Logistics Co Ltd, Norbert Kray, country chair for China DNV and Justin O’Jack, chief representative of University of Virginia China Office.
Fifty expatriates from 13 countries, including the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Australia and Japan were honored on December 18 with the Shanghai Magnolia Silver Award in recognition of their contributions to the city’s development, its international exchanges and the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
They are working in Shanghai in various fields, ranging from business, finance, shipping and education to science and technology, health care and culture.
Meanwhile, three among the 10 expats honored with Shanghai’s Magnolia Gold Awards this year are also from Changning. They are Ashish Maskay, senior orthopedic assistant surgeon of Shanghai United Family Hospital, Xiaoping Shen, director, professor & vice President of Shanghai Sipo Polytechnic and Daquan Xu, executive vice president of Bosch (China) Investment, Ltd.
