2023/01/13

The first completed building N1 of Phase II project in Columbia Circle is expected to open to the public this year, and Ozark Osoka, one of China’s leading outdoor brands, has decided to settle in.

Columbia Circle is located in the historical and scenic area of Xinhua Road, at No. 1262, Yan’an Road W., with a total area of about 48,000 square meters, including Sunke Villa, Columbia Country Club and other historical buildings and several industrial buildings.

Its history can be traced back to the 1920s, and it was taken over by the Shanghai Institute of Biological Products in 1951. As one of the representative works of urban renewal in Changning District, Shanghai Vanke carried out its overall renovation in 2016, with the project being implemented in two phases.

The first phase focuses on the renovation of historical buildings and the renewal of existing buildings. It was opened to the public in May 2018. It is a 7×24-hour dynamic community and citizen activity space, which has become a new landmark of Shanghai’s famous fashion culture, and has won many awards, such as the title of “great places at your doorway” for Shanghai citizens.

The second phase, which is currently under construction, is located in the south half of the park, with a total construction area of about 24,000 square meters. It includes five new buildings, integrating office, commercial and other functions, and will be fully opened in 2024.

The new park has simple and unique architectural features, with gray and white, log color system as the main color, supplemented by red elements and other jumping colors, adding a touch of liveliness and flexibility to the space.

The building N1 has a construction area of about 6,500 square meters. It will be integrated with the first-phase project in the future.
