New landmarks put in service soon

Four new landmarks in Changning, the Hongqiao Lianhe Building, Haisu Cultural Mansion, Building N1 of Columbia Circle Phase II and Gemdale Xinhua Avenue, will be put into service this year.

In the northeast of the Hongqiao-Tianshan business area, Hongqiao Lianhe Building covers 15,000 square meters and consists of a 26-story office building and a commercial complex.

A commercial office complex integrating art, culture and green space, the Haisu Cultural Mansion is surrounded by Zhongdeqiao Road in the east, Kaiqiao Green Land in the west, Liuhaisu Art Museum in the south and Zhaohua Road in the north.

The Building N1 is part of the Columbia Circle Central Plaza project. With a total construction area of 35,900 square meters, the project features five above-ground buildings and a one-story basement. 

In addition to the completed N1 building, the N2-N5 buildings are planned to be completed at the end of December 2023.

The Gemdale Xinhua Avenue neighbors Anxi Road in the west, the Columbia Circle in the north and east. Designed by NBBJ and completed in December 2022, it features 5,000 square meters of commercial area and will be mainly for business, office and underground garage.

Sixteen projects are planned to be completed this year, with a total construction area of 1.368 million square meters. The construction projects include Class A office buildings, commercial complexes and urban renewal, among others.

At the same time, Changning will promote the construction of seven major projects of the city and 30 major projects of the district this year. The major projects of the district involve a total investment of more than 63.4 billion yuan (US$9.4 billion).
