Michelin China headquarters office building officially opens

The opening ceremony of Michelin China headquarters office building was held on Monday in the Linkong economic zone in Changning District.
Joan Valadou, French consul general in Shanghai, and Weng Huajian, deputy director of Changning, attended the event, and jointly launched a “co-creation device” consisting of golden wheat ears with Michelin China President Ye Fei and staff.
Michelin Group is one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world and is recognized as the global leader in tire technology. In addition to tires, it also produces rims, steel wires, maps and travel guides.
Next year will be the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Changning will continue to create a first-class business environment and fully support the continuous growth and development of French-funded enterprises in the region, including Michelin.
The renovation project of Michelin China headquarters office building kicked off in September 2022 and was completed in January 2023. The project was carried out around Michelin’s sustainable strategy of “people, profit and environment”, aiming to create a more collaborative, digital, diverse and sustainable office environment for employees.
