Three Changning exhibition projects get national art museum listing

Three excellent exhibition projects in Changning District were selected in the list of excellent projects of national art museums in 2022, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced recently.

The whole process of people’s democratic aesthetic education of the community art museum – “Huayang Art Museum”

Huayang Art Museum is not only an art museum, but also a practice of applying the concept of people’s democracy in the whole process.

Since its completion, “Huayang Art Museum” has held a variety of activities such as pen painting exhibitions and pen drawing sketches for community residents.

A livestream program of the Changning Culture and Art Center is also held at the museum, inviting museum organizers, curators and community residents to share the story behind the establishment of the museum, so as to make more residents understand it, like it, and participate in its development.

Borderless Radio

Since its establishment, “Borderless Radio” has built a fresh and vivid cultural production platform with rich and in-depth content based on Shanghai’s local culture and history.

So far, the radio station has broadcast 62 episodes in columns including “The First Line”, “Metro Station”, “1001”, “Draft Theater”, etc. Although the hosts of the radio come from different fields, they share similar interests and values. These kinds of exchanges and interactions also give “Borderless Radio” more sparks of inspiration.

To the Heart of Beauty – The Art and Scholarship of Xie Zhiliu and Chen Peiqiu

To the Heart of Beauty – The Art and Scholarship of Xie Zhiliu and Chen Peiqiu opened at Cheng Shifa Art Museum on November 29, 2022.

It is reported that the exhibition is the largest art exhibition of Xie Zhiliu and Chen Peiqiu, two famous artists in the history of modern Chinese painting, in the past ten years. The exhibition has five parts, displaying more than 150 works of Xie and Chen.

The exhibition is not only a rare collection of the finest works of the two artists and the first appearance of part of the public and private collections, but also a rare “contrasting” academic showcase with many highlights.
