International payment for buyers from around the world

Commercial facilities in Changning are now equipped with more than 1,000 foreign bank card POS machines. Merchants can provide foreign credit card payment such as Visa and Mastercard. 

At present, most luxury retail stores in L’ Avenue offer the international payment service. At the same time, the concierge of the shopping mall also gets three foreign bank card POS machines, which allow customers to make payments when they are unable to use foreign bank cards in some stores.

In addition, Takashimaya, Parkson Newcore, Xijiao Bailian Shopping Mall, The Place, Arch Walk, Cloud Nine Shopping Mall. Raffles City Changning, Changning Art Park Imixpark, ShanghaiMart, the Changning section of Yuyuan Road, Wuyi MIX | 320 and Columbia Circle are equipped with foreign bank card POS machines for international payment. 

In addition, Takashimaya and Parkson Newcore, as department stores, also have departure tax refund counters, and overseas individuals can handle tax refunds at the counters.

L’ Avenue, as a high-end shopping center, is with 13 shops providing tax refund services, mainly focusing on luxury brands.

After obtaining the “Application Form for Tax Refund for Overseas Travelers’ Shopping Departure” and relevant materials, eligible overseas individuals can go to the tax refund counters to receive cash in yuan equivalent to the actual value-added tax refunded on the refunded items. Upon departure, the refunded items will be verified with the customs in accordance with current regulations.
