Changning District unveils 'SORSA Home' to serve returned overseas students

The Changning District SORSA Home was unveiled on Tuesday at "TongXIN Shared Living Room," located at 1070 Xianxia Road.
The SORSA Home is a joint project promoted by the Changning Branch of the Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association, Xinjing Town and Tongren Hospital.
The home serving returned overseas students will leverage the advantages of cross-disciplinary resources and collaborative cooperation to carry out various high-quality activities, including health promotion, coffee salons, performances and parent-child communication. It will effectively connect the strengths of returnees with local development highlights and create a new landmark for serving returned students.
At the event, three parties, including the Changning Branch of the SORSA, the Xinjing Town TongXIN Neighborhood Party Building Alliance and the Tongren Hospital Health Promotion Committee, signed a memorandum of friendly cooperation.
Finally, a physician from Tongren Hospital gave a lecture on medical health knowledge and daily healthy lifestyle to the participants.
The person in charge of the Changning Branch of the SORSA said that in the future the SORSA Home of Changning District will actively play a role in providing targeted services for returned overseas students, attracting and gathering international medical talents and benchmarking against international medical service standards and projects at a high level.
