Changning unveils three CityWalk routes along Suzhou Creek

The CityWalk route along Suzhou Creek in Changning District has been unveiled, featuring three theme routes: the Red Impression, the Ecological Secret and the Colorful Neighborhood. These routes offer immersive experiences for community residents.

The Red Impression route, represented by the green train station and the Memorial Hall of the 37th Night School built in 1946 to educate cotton mill workers, restores the old scenes and retells the stories of the red history along Suzhou Creek.

The Ecological Secret route, represented by the DOHO Creative Park and Hongqiao Riverside Park, installs air and noise detectors along Suzhou Creek to enable people to understand the real-time environmental status of the river and enhance their environmental awareness.

The Colorful Neighborhood route, represented by a series of pocket gardens such as Lexiang Garden and Mirror Garden, actively explores and excavates the urban micro-space, regularly holds various cultural activities and cultivates a colorful neighborhood life.

In addition, the Zhoujiaqiao Subdistrict, where the area along Suzhou Creek is located, skillfully integrates architectural images, natural landscapes, urban culture and other elements to create a set of commemorative cultural and creative badges.

This set of commemorative badges includes 10 exquisite and vividly designed badges that capture the new and beautiful scenery of Suzhou Creek.
