2024 Shanghai Women's Half Marathon to kick off on March 10

The 2024 Shanghai Women's Half Marathon is set to kick off at 7am on Sunday, March 10th, starting from Zunyi Road. Returning to its early spring March schedule, the event celebrates its fifth anniversary and coincides with International Women's Day on March 8th.
The meticulously chosen route includes iconic locations such as Hongqiao Road, the Outer Ring Ecological Greenway, and the Suzhou River Trail in Changning Area.
The starting point is at Zunyi Road, featuring both the Half Marathon and Fitness Run events.
The finish line for the Half Marathon is at Gate 3 of Zhongshan Park (Wanhangdu Road), while the Fitness Run concludes at the Shanghai Zoo (Hongqiao Road). The total participation is 5800 individuals, including 5000 for the Half Marathon and 800 for the Fitness Run.
Ranking will be based on net timing results, with the top 6 participants receiving generous cash prizes: 15,000 yuan, 10,000 yuan, 8,000 yuan, 5,000 yuan, 3,000 yuan, and 2,000 yuan, respectively.
The top 200 finishers will secure the direct entry slot for the the 2024 Shanghai Marathon.
During the event, each section of the race route has specified closing times, resulting in temporary closures of the corresponding segments to public traffic.
The closure times for every 5 kilometers of the course are 7:50 am, 8:35 am, 9:15 am, and 10 am.
The Fitness Run event has an overall closing time of 7:50 am, while the Half Marathon event has an overall closing time of 10:10 am.
Registration time: 3 pm on Jan 22 - 3pm on Jan 25
Registration Method: Log in to the official Shanghai Marathon website or download the Shanghai Marathon app to sign up for the respective events.
Fees:
Half Marathon: 150 yuan per person
Fitness Run: 80 yuan per person
The lottery results will be announced on the afternoon of February 2.
After the announcement, the payment period is until 3:00 pm on February 5.
Failure to make payment by the deadline will result in forfeiting the registration.
