The seasoned truck driver surnamed Yang at YTO Express has 15 years of experience in long-haul logistics driving. To enhance his driving experience, the company equipped him with a smart truck with the Inceptio intelligent driving system.
In cases of driver fatigue, the system provides remote reminders through tightening seat belts, vibrating seats, and other methods to relieve driver stress and ensure safer and longer journeys.
"As long as my hand lightly rests on the steering wheel, the system automatically cruises and identifies directions. Previously, I could only drive 5 to 6 hundred kilometers a day, but now I can cover 1,000 kilometers a day. It's much easier than before, and my monthly income has increased by at least 2,000 yuan (US$277.78)," Yang shared about his improved driving experience using the system.
In the real-time footage at the Inceptio Technology cloud command center, over 800 truck drivers, including Yang, are seen enjoying the ease and safety provided by intelligent driving technology. The cloud command center can monitor driver fatigue in real-time and issue timely safety reminders.
Data indicates that trucks equipped with the Inceptio intelligent driving system have an average intelligent driving mileage share of over 90 percent, with operational mileage exceeding 88 million kilometers, leading the industry globally.
Since the Spring Festival travel rush this year, the national express delivery volume has increased compared to last year, but with faster turnover speeds, largely due to the industry's intelligent transformation.
