Gubei's new hub of community activities unveiled

The new landmark of Gubei international community, the Gubei Good Life Service Center, was officially inaugurated on Monday.

This new space, about 680 square meters in size, encompasses five major functions: a shared classroom, Ginkgo Coffee Bar, fusion living room, dance art space and a multi-functional hall, providing the surrounding residents with more superior, attentive and convenient services.

The entire space adopts bright and vibrant ginkgo hues, with wall decorations featuring simple yet design-oriented lines and patterns, reflecting a modern and fashionable style while creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

According to the subdistrict office, the space embodies the spirit of openness, sharing and collaboration in its functional setup. It is equipped with advanced multimedia devices and comfortable activity areas and will regularly host various social aesthetic education courses, creative sharing sessions, charitable workshops and lectures, allowing citizens to realize and pursue a beautiful life right at their doorstep.

The shared classroom, based on a new Chinese style decoration, is equipped with podiums, long tables and display cabinets, and will serve as a classroom for community education and art popularization courses.

Additionally, the space has created a "community shared art window," which, through hosting various creative activities and exhibitions, provides both local and foreign residents with a stage to showcase themselves.

Ginkgo Coffee Bar includes an outdoor leisure area and an indoor coffee counter, creating a stylish and dynamic multi-functional space.

The fusion living room includes a leisure reading area and a "15-minute Community Good Life Circle" display wall. The leisure reading area is divided into an adult reading area and a children's puzzle play area, equipped with books, LEGO, etc., creating a reading, discussion and entertainment atmosphere for all ages.

Dance art space is a new elegant art space created by the Shanghai International Dance Center Foundation in collaboration with Hongqiao Subdistrict, aimed at providing citizens with various dance popularization courses and community team activities.

The multi-functional hall can accommodate 80 people and is suitable for meetings, lectures, exhibitions, team cultural activities and community aesthetic education courses.
