Crab exhibition drives high-quality industry development

From October 24 to 27, the 2024 Crab Industry (Shanghai) Exhibition is taking place at the Shanghai Agricultural Exhibition Hall.
As the first major event for the crab industry, it brings together top-quality crab brands from across the country to better meet the diverse and high-quality consumption needs of citizens.
The exhibition covers the entire crab industry supply chain, aiming to create a professional, efficient and convenient one-stop platform for trade and technical exchange. Over 200 local brands from regions such as Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Liaoning, Xinjiang and Ningxia are participating.
The expo is carefully organized into nine themed exhibition areas, involving crab culinary culture, brand crab production, crab seed enterprises, smart crab farming equipment, crab brand catering, crab processing and crab supporting industries.
These themed areas offer a platform for exhibitors and visitors to deeply explore the crab industry, injecting new vitality and strong momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
During the expo, Shanghai Ocean University, along with several higher education institutions from Anhui and Zhejiang, will host a series of exciting major industry events, such as the crab farming model innovation competition, crab king and queen competition and the crab tasting competition.
