2024/11/01
As autumn arrives, Changning District Landscaping and City Appearance Bureau has launched three niche travel routes, allowing visitors to experience the unique charm of Changning in just one day. These routes not only cover several popular attractions in Changning but also offer authentic local cuisine and are perfect for photography.
The first route, themed "city memories and artistic sentiments," includes attractions such as Suzhou Creek Super Pipe, "Emoji" Pocket Park, Zhongshan Park, Wuyi Road, Shanghai Film Museum, Luhanbin Typewriter Museum and Yuyuan Road. This route showcases the blend of modernity and history and visitors can also enjoy various local delicacies.
The second route, themed "natural ecology and artistic influence," features Tianyuan Riverside Park, the banks of Suzhou Creek and the Hongqiao Contemporary Art Museum, allowing visitors to connect with nature and appreciate art.
The third route, themed "green ecology and folk culture," includes the Outer Ring Ecological Greenway, Xijiao Bailian and the Changning Folk Culture Center, offering visitors an experience of Changning's green ecology and traditional culture, along with a sense of historical depth.
The following are some key attractions:
Suzhou Creek Super Pipe
Located at the intersection of Jiangsu Road N. and Wanhangdu Road, there are two new popular photo spots. Since its completion, the "Suzhou Creek Super Pipe" has become a highly recognizable city landmark. It serves as the first enhancement point of the leisure culture belt under the Suzhou Creek bridges in Changning and as a gateway at the junction of Changning, Jing'an and Putuo districts.
"Emoji" Pocket Park
Adjacent to the "Suzhou Creek Super Pipe" is the newly opened "Emoji" Pocket Park. The park maintains its strong artistic appeal while incorporating more emotional expression and interactive fun. Various art installations attract many citizens and tourists to take commemorative photos.
Changning Outer Ring Ecological Greenway
This 6.25-kilometer greenway, like a winding emerald ribbon, closely follows the Outer Ring West River. Starting from the Linkong Music Park, it extends southward to the airport nursery on the west side of Huqingping Highway, connecting seas of flowers, forests, boardwalks and viewing bridges along the way.
Columbia Circle
Columbia Circle bears the historical imprint of Shanghai's century-old urban history, composed of three historical buildings, 11 industrial renovation buildings that span the growth of New China, and five contemporary buildings with distinct styles. In the northeast corner of the park, hidden among the trees, is the Sun Ke Villa, one of the first outstanding historical buildings in Shanghai and a municipal cultural relic protection site.
