Green living and floral Innovation at the 2025 spring flower show

The 2025 Spring Flower Exhibition and Home Gardening Carnival will be held at the Shanghai Agricultural Exhibition Hall this weekend, offering a floral and gardening extravaganza to the citizens.

The exhibition, with a theme of "promoting the upgrade of the flower industry and encouraging green consumption," aims to showcase the latest achievements and trends in domestic and international floral products, helping flowers become a part of everyday life.

The exhibition covers an area of 6,000 square meters and features a wide variety of floral products from renowned companies, including popular New Year flowers like phalaenopsis, narcissus, cyclamen, and amaryllis, catering to diverse consumer needs.

Shanghai Garden (Group) Corp is introducing the "self-blooming, no-watering" amaryllis wax ball gift box, along with award-winning ornamental peppers and new varieties set to launch in 2026.

To enhance the visitor experience, many exhibitors are offering significant discounts. For instance, Shanghai Hongqiao Flower Valley Eco-Technology Co Ltd is hosting a dahlia giveaway, where lucky visitors can win dahlias valued at over 20 yuan (US$2.74). Kunming Jinning Baofeng Flower Industrial Park is bringing Yunnan flowers to the exhibition, including cymbidium orchid, winterberry, and roses.

A special "edible flower tasting area" allows visitors to sample creative dishes made from edible flowers, showcasing their unique culinary applications. This area highlights Shanghai's recent innovations in the development and application of edible flowers, allowing visitors to enjoy the integration of flowers into daily life.

The "1-meter balcony display area" has been created to meet urban residents' desire for a green lifestyle. This area is not only an innovative concept but also a response to contemporary living styles, featuring five themed balconies that cater to diverse lifestyle and aesthetic needs, providing citizens with personalized green balcony models.
