Changning District collaborated with eight high-quality enterprises to create a thematic exhibition zone at the2 025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo, highlighting the rapid development and diverse applications of the low-altitude economy.
In recent years, Changning has emerged as a key hub for the aviation industry, hosting 60 percent of Shanghai’s base airlines, over 800 aviation-related enterprises, and more than 20 aviation service institutions. The district has built a comprehensive industrial ecosystem covering airworthiness certification, airspace management, and flight services.
Positioned as a "low-altitude economy headquarters cluster, Changning is developing the Hongqiao International Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Park to high standards, attracting leading companies such as Shanghai Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Development Co Ltd, and driving the expansion of the aviation sector from high-altitude to low-altitude operations.
Currently, Changning has designated a 2.5-square-kilometer pilot zone for low-altitude activities, bounded by Jiangsu Road to the east, Yan’an Road W. to the south, Kaixuan Road to the west, and Suzhou Creek to the north.
At Booth C31 in Hall 4.1 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), Changning-based companies showcased a range of innovative exhibits, drawing significant attention from attendees.

Designed for flights below 3,000 meters, the GA20 offers superior handling, lower fuel consumption, and versatile applications, including pilot training, low-altitude tourism, short-haul transport, and private aviation.
Jike Air, another standout exhibitor, focuses on low-altitude infrastructure and traffic management systems, integrating software, hardware, and algorithmic backends into a unified technical solution.
Meanwhile, Hydrogen Source Intelligent Technology, an innovative company dedicated to AI-powered drones and solid hydrogen propulsion systems, showcased multiple AI-enabled specialized drones and hybrid hydrogen-electric UAVs with extended endurance.
The 2025 International Advanced Air Mobility Expo, held from July 23 to 26, is China’s premier international event covering the entire low-altitude economy industrial chain.
