Shanghai Oktoberfest set to bring authentic Bavarian spirit

From September 19 to 27, the Shanghai Oktoberfest will take over the Radisson Collection Yangtze Shanghai Hotel, offering locals and visitors a genuine taste of Bavarian culture and celebration.
This year’s event will be held in a specially constructed 880-square-meter tent, decked out in traditional blue-and-white checkered flags and vibrant decorations, recreating the iconic festive atmosphere of Munich’s world-famous Oktoberfest.
Guests can look forward to a mouthwatering spread of German and Chinese specialties served at long communal tables. The menu includes juicy German sausages, peppery smoked beef, crispy roasted chicken, and the signature Munich-style roasted pork knuckle. The culinary experience doesn’t stop there—classic Cantonese roast meats and spicy Sichuan dishes will also be served, with all food available unlimited throughout the event.
To drink, the festival will feature Paulaner beer, the official beer of Munich’s Oktoberfest. Each sip delivers the authentic German flavor, characterized by the sweet notes of malt and the refreshing bitterness of hops.
Entertainment will be provided by a live band performing energetic Bavarian tunes blended with popular Chinese music elements. The Wink Band will also make a special appearance, delivering traditional German folk songs and interactive performances that promise to get the crowd involved.
There will be a lucky draw held daily with prizes including round-trip tickets to Europe courtesy of Finnair, trendy Labubu blind boxes, as well as vouchers for stays and dining at luxury hotels.
