Columbia Circle launches cozy winter cultural series

2025/12/24

Starting December 24, a series of winter cultural activities will take place at Columbia Circle, featuring a themed bazaar, a public art exhibition, New Year concerts, and a closing harvest show.

This winter program is centered around the theme of "warmth," emphasizing the fusion of art and daily life. Among the highlights, the "Cozy Winter FUFU" themed bazaar will run from December 24 to 28. It will bring together over 60 stalls offering handmade crafts, seasonal foods, and creative designs, accompanied by live music performances. This blend aims to let visitors experience the intertwining of lively community spirit and artistic atmosphere within the century-old architectural complex.

On December 24, an outdoor art exhibition titled "Irregular Growth" will also debut in the public space on the first floor of Building 10 at Columbia Circle. Created in collaboration with over a hundred families, the exhibition showcases artworks made by children, inviting viewers to reflect on themes of growth and change. The exhibition is scheduled to run until March next year and is free to the public.

As a key feature of the year-end celebrations, a series of intimate New Year concerts will be held on December 24, December 28, and New Year's Day inside the iconic Navy Club. The sounds of string and brass ensembles will fill the historic venue, offering residents a serene and elegant artistic experience.

As a flagship project for Shanghai's urban renewal and historical preservation, Columbia Circle consistently strives to go beyond the physical transformation of space. Through sustained, high-quality programming, it fosters a deep integration between architectural heritage and contemporary urban life.
