Changning's new year shopping season in full swing

Changning District is buzzing with activity as its shopping season continues, with major commercial hubs rolling out a variety of engaging promotions and events to welcome the upcoming Lunar New Year.

 

Zhongshan Park Commercial Area

 

Cloud Nine Shopping Center is transforming into an IP-themed amusement park, featuring experiences throughout January such as ethnic dances from Yunnan mountain villages, interactive non-player characters, and photo opportunities with the AI "Dragon Squad." New stores including Camel Outdoor Sports City, UR, and Maogeping have recently opened.

 

Changning Raffles City has installed an outdoor ice rink for a winter carnival. The lively Supertutu installation has also made its debut here.

 

On Yuyuan Road, Story Store has launched the "Good Luck All Year" pop-up, joined by other brand pop-ups and themed markets. A Year of the Horse art exhibition is now open, while the Yu Lane Ball Garden continues to offer a green, scenic space.

 

Hongqiao-Gubei Commercial Area

 

The Place is collaborating with folk singer and "wild architect" Qiao Xiaodao to host the East China debut of the "Land of Wilderness" national touring exhibition, free to the public until March 1. January is themed as "Drama Month," featuring weekly immersive performances rooted in folk art.

 

Yifeng Center is hosting a free Dunhuang Cultural Art Public Welfare Exhibition until March 31, showcasing nearly 100 exquisite pieces and five replica caves from the Mogao Grottoes.

 

L’Avenue welcomes the newly opened Xingxian Port Seafood, offering globally sourced, freshly prepared seafood at affordable prices. Its food court brings together nearly 30 restaurants for diverse dining options. The soon-to-open Foolu Market will feature quality products at competitive prices.

 

Jinhongqiao Mall has refreshed its "Apple Town" with a 2026 New Year limited-edition theme. Visitors can take photos with the centerpiece giant apple for a vibrant start to the year, symbolizing peace and good fortune.

 

Xinhua Commercial Area

 

Columbia Circle has unveiled the "Come, Take a Spin" art installation, turning the complex into a fairy-tale setting. The "Irregular Growth" art exhibition continues, inviting reflection on growth and change.

 

M+ Xingfuli offers a visit to a charming community commercial complex and the “Soulmanyships” art exhibition, highlighting the warmth of urban public spaces and the diverse facets of happiness.

 

Linkong Commercial Area

 

Bailian Xijiao Shopping Center is hosting the Shanghai debut of the Brunch Brother exhibition, with adorable IP characters and art installations both inside and outside, transforming the mall into a "Brunch Village."

 

Changning Art Park is running a winter-themed event featuring ten light installations along with interactive shopping benefits, creating an urban artistic feast.
