GRACE CHEN debuts 2026 early spring couture collection in New York

2026/03/01

GRACE CHEN, a pioneering Chinese high-end fashion brand rooted in Changning District, recently unveiled its 2026 early spring couture collection in New York.

The collection builds a cultural bridge through the design philosophy of points, lines, and planes, marking the first stop of the brand's 2026 global expansion initiative.

GRACE CHEN is renowned for its exquisite designs that seamlessly integrate Eastern and Western aesthetics. This new collection merges New York's modern dynamism with Eastern understated elegance, creating a distinctive style that is both classically romantic and subtly rebellious.

The collection employs points, lines, and planes as both key design elements and philosophical threads throughout the overall silhouettes and detailed treatments.

"Points" focus on the resonance between individuals and their inner selves. Flowing trousers and dresses utilize stretch fabrics, allowing wearers to showcase their authentic vitality in comfort.

"Lines" emphasize interpersonal connection. Through fluid water ripple textures and delicate black-and-white juxtaposition, they interpret the Eastern art of restraint and proportion, embodying a relational aesthetic of "closeness with space, beauty in harmony."

"Planes" explore the intersection of people and time, layering handcrafted intangible cultural heritage techniques with contemporary high-end fabrics to carry a lifestyle quality steeped in philosophy and humanistic sentiment.

The collection was modeled by professional models alongside over 30 distinguished women from diverse fields including lawyers and singers worldwide. These non-professional models, with their authenticity and confidence, built bridges between Eastern and Western cultures, diverse professional domains, and social roles, vividly embodying the collection's core spirit of "connection, understanding, and integration."

"We live in a world that appears closely connected yet often feels inwardly distant. Through this new collection, I hope to use fashion as a medium to connect people with themselves, with others, and with the world," said Grace Chen, founder and designer of the brand.
